| Objectives
The objectives of the college are : a) To impart extensive knowledge in Fine Arts, namely Painting, Applied Arts and Photography. b) The aim of teaching theory subjects like Art, History and Aesthetics is to acquaint the students with the visual cultures of the earliest times to the present. c) To appropriately support instructions with visuals, lectures, discussions , seminars, written exercises and tests. d) To enhance the capacity of the students to face the challenges of the profession effectively. e) To inculcate in students the ability to think creatively and imaginatively. f) To ensure constant interaction between the institution and industry wherein the students acquire practical knowledge throughout the course, thereby enabling them to seek good placements in their related fields. g) To prepare the students thoroughly in their respective fields thereby enabling them to pursue advanced studies and also to equip them for teaching positions. |
